SubscriberBought a vindicator that’s been sitting for a while.Got a couple questions about a few things. First thing is the battery.The bike has a dead 300 cca battery. I’ve read you need at least 500 cca to start the ss 113 motor. Any suggestions would be helpful. What was in the bike off the showroom floor?Another thing is I’m missing the vengeance derby cover..Are there any still available stephen?..Got some work to do ,but this bike is way to nice to be not on the road..Any help would be appreciated ..

AdministratorWelcome… I use Interstate batteries and keep them on a trickle charger. The 113ci with a 600 cam was standard. I do have Derby covers they are $50. Share some pictures of your bike! –S.

AdministratorLooks great! I’ve spent a lot of summer nights at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach, DE. I was disappointed I missed Blue Crab season this year.
I’ll email you details on the Derby cover… also if you are interested… I’ve got the Vengeance points cover, inspection cover and Air Cleaner cover. –S.

SubscriberYes I know the Rudder well, and also the Bottle and cork in Dewey!!…We live in Maryland so we get our fill of Blue Crabs while they are in season!! I actually found a points cover on ebay, but I would be interested in the inspection cover and the derby cover. Let me know the cost and I will be in touch..Thanks Mike…..
ps..Not sure about the air cleaner cover. Takes the place of the S&S ?Got any pics?

The aircleaner covers are overlays like the flamed one you have on your S&S now… I’ve got VXC and V-Flags.
