I wonder if your pads are glazed (hard spots)? That can also happen from oil on the pads. Clean the rotors with brake cleaner and scuff the pads. Might be worth putting a new set on when you have it apart.
loop-single-reply.phpInteresting… I’d suggest reaching out to Dakota Digital it sounds like they may have changed the colors. The lean is definitely from the offset. Those look like the original rims so you aren’t going to make it any better. We used wheels with a little offset to compensate for the LSD. Let me know what Dakota says.
loop-single-reply.phpUnfortunately, no I’ve lost track of Aaron but that diagram is available from Dakota Digital here:

loop-single-reply.phploop-single-reply.phpLove the chopped fender.
Also you’ve got a box with breakers mounted on the swingarm slash guard. Its a PITA to get to as you need to remove the rear wheel. (Later these were all moved into a larger key switch box.) The wiring diagram is posted in the technical section.
loop-single-reply.phpI’m pretty sure the HD front axle nut specs are 50-55 ft-lbs.
Don’t forget a light coating of anti-sieze compound on the axle.
loop-single-reply.phpYes, the Maxis will take the 300. We used the Metzler (280) because it had a rounder shoulder profile. But the 280/300 use the same rim and fender.
loop-single-reply.phpWe used Pro-One and Accutronix forward controls based on the 88-92 Softtail frame design.
loop-single-reply.phpFirst start by taking the back off and pressing the connections back on tight. If you still have the issue you may need to reach out to Dakota digital.
loop-single-reply.phpFebruary 11, 2019 at 4:29 pm in reply to: I love this bike! 06 Banshee Candy Bone Skull paint. #12500I’ve decided to pull back for a little while. This exercise has really brought back some pretty heavy stuff. I want to tell the story, but I’m also not looking to stir up trouble. I have about 100 bankers boxes of court documents that document the whole story, but that doesn’t mean that folks won’t be upset it’s being published. Hopefully, I will be able to sort out the best way to tell the rest of the story without causing new problems. For those of you who have been reading along, thanks for the support!
